For visiting Machupicchu we have different wagon services as the Vistadome wagon and Backpacker wagon, leaving all from Aguas Calientes / Cusco and Aguas Calientes / Ollantaytambo we urge you to book in advance to avoid problems with space availability, from June through November half the seats are already booked.
The quickest and easiest way to visit Machu Picchu. During the trip you will enjoy the scenery through the Urubamba River banks, included hot and cold drinks during the trip. The wagons have been recently renovated 5 years ago, they have panoramic windows that will let you enjoy an spectacular view and take pictures of beautiful landscapes.
VISTADOME Service Note: This service may be boarded from Cusco or from Ollantaytambo to those who wish to stay overnight in the Sacred Valley or not to make the trip to Ollantaytambo to early.
BACKPACKER services. – Everyday departures.
This service is designed exclusively for adventure travellers that also seek comfort, safety, security and good service. Backpacker has reclining seats and leg space. During the journey we will appreciate snow-capped views of the Veronica mountain; we’ll travel close to the Urubamba River until Machupicchu village then board the bus to the lost city of the Incas. Note: This service may be boarded from Cusco or from Ollantaytambo to those who wish to stay overnight in the Sacred Valley.
Reservations: Must be made one month in advance and prices or time schedules are subject to change without prior notice, if there should be an itinerary change please by your side please warn us 5 days earlier.
Booking conditions: Reservations with a minimum of 30 days in advance and confirmation will be given in 78 hours, the ticket will be delivered in Cusco upon arrival, or also delivered to your hotel by our agency staff or may you pick it up in our office.
Cancellation of train ticket/s should be 15 days before the date of the trip and we will charge 40% for administrative expenses. If the client decides a schedule change, once the train ticket is delivered, a USD$ 7.00 per passenger will be charged.
