Adventure in Puno and Titicaca Lake
FIRST OPTION Puno / UROS (half day) Pick up time at 08:00am. from your hotel and head to the Chulluni village to start with a KAYAK adventure, the trip to reach the Floating Islands of Uros is 1 hour and 10 minutes paddling in the kayak. During the journey we will appreciate a variety of birds, flora and fauna of lake, the landscape and an island of rocky formation called Foroba, which is also part of the Titicaca National Reserve and then the floating islands of Uros where we can observe the inhabitants lifestyle, their customs, traditions and handycrafts, then we will have a typical lunch. And after making this adventure we’ll return to Puno paddling on a kayak arriving approximately at 1:30 pm. to the hotel. Note: For this adventure, experience is not needed. Included: Guide accompanying throughout the tour Entrance ticket to the islands Transfer: Hotel / Port Chulluni / Hotel Kayak Team "adventure" Lunch in Uros Islands First aid kit SECOND OPTION Puno / LLACHON / Taquile (Full Day) Transfer in a tourist transportation from the hotel at 6:00 a.m. to the Puno quay, travelling towards llachón, arriving at about 8:30am. where the adventure will start on Lake Titikaka paddling in a KAYAK, heading towards the Taquile Island, on route we may notice clearly the crystalline waters of the Titikaka, we’ll also be able to observe the islands of Amantani, Taquile, and other small ones the landscape of the lake and the mountains of Bolivia, and then reach Taquile Island, where we can appreciate the inhabitants lifestyle, their customs, traditions, typical dresses and handycrafts, after performing this adventure, we’ll have lunch in Taquile, after lunch we’ll return to Puno in a motorboat. Visiting on the way the floating Islands of Uros reaching Puno approx. at 5:30pm. Lunch in Taquile: Or quinua soup with vegetables, Pejerrey (mackerel), Trout or the Tortilla Taquileña, Pancakes, Tea (coca, Muña, etc.). Note: For this adventure, experience is not needed. THIRD OPTION Puno / LLACHON / TIKONATA Island / Amantani / Taquile / UROS 2D/1N
DAY 1: Transfer in na
tourist transportation from the hotel at 6:00am. To Puno's quay,
traveling towards llachón, arriving at about 8:30 am. Where the
adventure starts on Lake Titikaka paddling in a KAYAK, heading
towards TIKONATA Island, on the way you may note clearly the
crystalline waters of the lake; we’ll also be able to observe
the Amantani, Taquile, and other small islands, also the lake
landscape and the mountains of Bolivia. Then we’ll continue
travelling towards the Amantani Island arriving 1:30 pm. the
guide accommodates clients in private local residences, where
they will have lunch, then have a tour walking towards the
temple of Pachatata And Pacha Mama, then returns to the family
home where they we’ll have dinner and stay for the night. DAY 2: After breakfast, we'll continue traveling to Taquile 1 hour, upon arrival to the village where we'll observe the famous textiles and typical dresses, after the visit we'll return to Puno in a motorboat, during the journey we’ll visit the island of Uros reaching Puno approx. at 5:30pm. Lunch in Taquile: quinua or vegetables soup, Pejerrey (mackerel), Trout or the Tortilla Taquileña, Pancakes, Tea (coca, Muña, etc.). Note: For this adventure no experience needed.
