Lima - Trujillo - Chiclayo (Northern Peru) Cultural and Traditional tours 6 Days / 5 Nights
Day 01: Lima Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel for resting.
Day 02: Lima CITY TOUR (Colonial and modern) Guided tour through the most important and characteristic sites of Lima, with its typical features on the colonial city, such as La Plaza de Armas (Main Square), Government’s Palace, the Cathedral, The Archbishop's Palace, Municipality of Lima, Desamparados train station, old streets and classic mansions of the viceroy’s times and Moorish-styled balconies, then a tour to the Church of San Francisco with its majestic Convent, Art Museum and Catacombs. Leaving old Lima, we’ll head towards San Isidro and Miraflores Park to El Mirador del Amor making a contrast between the old and modern Lima, circuit beaches along the coastline reaching the district of Chorrillos and return. at 1900hrs we'll transfer you to the airport to board your flight to Trujillo, reception and transfer to hotel Conquistador and spend the night (Dinner not included).
Day 03: Tours to Huaca de “Sol y Luna” - CHAN CHAN Full Day: Included in the tour, rolling “moche” home craft and Huaca of the Moon. In this tour we’ll appreciate perhaps one of the world's largest buildings, used in its construction about 150 million adobes, the Temple of the god of the mountains, then we’ll continue with our tour to Chan Chan which is the largest mud citadel in Pre-America. The ancient capital of the Chimu kingdom, a major pre-Inca culture, which was established in the valley between the ages of Moche culture between XII and XV centuries, housed up to 60 thousand inhabitants, spread over an area of 20 square kilometres, close by is the Huanchaco Cerro Campana port. Return to the hotel and rest.
Day 04: Trujillo - Chiclayo (in local tourist class bus) Breakfast and transfer to the bus terminal and then start our trip to Chiclayo, we’ll appreciate different attractive locations the trip will take 4 hours reception, transfer to the hotel, city tour in the afternoon Cathedral main square or Plaza de Armas, return to the hotel. (not including dinner)
Day 05: Tour to Tucume and Royal Tombs of Sipan museum After breakfast, we'll visit the archaeological complex of Tucume or The Valley of the Pyramids, (45 minutes from Chiclayo), an important archaeological complex in Lambayeque culture (BC 1000 / 1350 AD), and a group of pyramids where you can contemplate the urban extension of the pre-Columbian city. Then we’ll continue with our visit to the museum of Sipan. It shows the most important archaeological finds of the Mochica culture in a unique exhibit that combines maximum scientific accuracy and security. Emphasize emblems, jewellery and ornaments found, and then return to the hotel for the night. (not including dinner)
At 20:00 hrs. Transfer to the airport to board a flight from Chiclayo to Lima reception in Lima and transfer to your chosen hotel, for the night. (not including dinner)
Day 06: TOUR TO PACHACAMAC (half day) Early breakfast, Pachacamac remains are about 45 minutes away through the Panamerican highway due south. Pachacamac is one of the largest and oldest cities in the Peruvian coastline. Founded around the first century of our era, survived until 1532, when it is destroyed by the Spanish conquistadors. Today is one of the most complex archaeological sites studied by archaeologists, architects and astronomers and a point of great tourist attraction. Return to the hotel free afternoon to make purchases and at the scheduled time, transfer hotel to airport to board your international flight.
