After breakfast, we started the trek to our second camp, this day we start early, we will ascend through the Ipsay pass on the way we will appreciate different rural communities as well as different customs and textiles that they weave for daily use. We will go to the lagoon of Ipsaycocha, where lunch will be, after a nap We will continue to the town of Patacancha where we will spend the second night.
After breakfast we will continue our walk to the small town of Willoq population with original customs we will also pass through small towns in the course of our walk we can observe the archaeological remains of Qochapat a and Pumamarca, to appreciate the famous Inca terraces, at approximately 2:00 p.m. we will reach the town of Ollantaytambo, located on the banks of the Vilcanota River, a fertile valley, this town is considered one of the most important living museums in the world; After lunch we will have free time until 7:30 pm after which we will board the train to Aguas Calientes. We will spend the last night in a lodging with private bathroom and hot water. (The latter can be moved train ticket schedules because it is according to the availability of spaces in Peru Rail, the hours of 12:30 pm is also considered).
Very early we will start walking to the Inca city of Machu Picchu to see the sunrise and then have the guided tour around the Inka Sanctuary, this tour takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. After which we will have free time until 3:00 pm and at 4:00 p.m. We will board the return train to Cusco.
