THE INCAS' SACRED VALLEY

Itinerary:

• We pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am. approximately, we will start our tour with the town of Corao;  to get to know some of the craftsmanship they make; then we will descend towards the Vilcanota river, where we can have a panoramic view of the town center of Pisac.
• On the edge of the village we will climb to the top of the mountain until we reach the archaeological center of Pisac where we will have a guided tour.
• then we will go down to visit the artisan market of the village, where we will have the opportunity to know about the customs of that peolple.
• Afterwards we will pass through picturesque villages such as: Lamay, Q’oya, Calca, Yucay and finally we will arrive at our restaurant that is in Urubamba to taste our delicious lunch buffet, specially prepared by our cheffs.
• In the afternoon we will visit the archaeological remains of Ollantaytambo, built as an entrance and exit control point for people to this part of the valley; And as protection of possible invasions of the forest settlers.
• We will have the opportunity to walk through the picturesque streets of the village, and so have a clear idea of how this military, religious and cultural center was during the Inca Empire.
• On the way back to Cusco, we will visit the beatiful town of Chinchero, where the remains of the royal hacienda of Túpac Inca Yupanqui are found. And you can also admire the Inca wall in the main square, visit the beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the portico; Built on the bases of an Inca building.
• We will visit the artisan center where the inhabitants will make us a demonstration of craftwork (spinning and dyeing) as our ancestors, the Incas.
• then we will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 7 p.m. and we will return to your hotels.
