Schedule 4 Days / 3 Nights

 

Day 1 : CUSCO - CACHORA - CHIKISKA

We'll leave Cusco early in the morning for a long trip to the trailhead in Cachora Village along the drive we'll stop in Limatambo to visit the Tarawasi Inca site a ceremonial place along the way, then we'll continue and see for the first time the Apurimac River and Valley , afterwards the bus will drive us up right to the Curawasi village , we'll make a second stop and visit the SAYWITE sacred rock with several carvings, then we'll continue to Cachora Village starting point for our hike, easy hike to Capuliyoc pass (2,780m/9,120ft.) and the first view of Choquequirao, lunch with panoramic view, then we'll descend to our camp finally arriving in Chiquisca.

 

Day 2 : CHIKISKA - ROSALINA - SANTA ROSA - CHOQUEQUIRAO

After an early breakfast we'll descend to Rosalina Beach crossing the bridge, then we'll take a zigzagging trail up to Santa Rosa, few farmers leaving there, one of them with a rustic sugar cane distillery, from Rosaspata we ascend to Marampata along the way we can appreciate wild flowers, many birds and orchids, after that a moderate hike around the mountain we'll arrive to our final destination Choquequirao camp.

 

Day 3 : CHOQUEQUIRAO - RIO APURIMAC PLAYA ROSALINA

After breakfast, we'll have a guided tour through this Inka city, we will visit the upper and lower part of the site after exploring the area, we'll start hiking back down to the camp site for lunch. Then we'll descend towards the Apurimac river back to Cachora passing again through Santa Rosa, arriving to our campsite.

 

Day 4 : PLAYA ROSALINA - CACHORA - CUSCO

We'll ascend right to the Capuliyoc pass last view of Choquequirao Inka site, after the pass we'll have moderate hike to get to Cachora Village, where we will say goodbye to our wranglers, then we'll start our ride back to Cusco.

 

END OF THE SERVICES

 

OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Pick up all the members from their hotels, then transfer by bus to Cachora Village (trailhead).

  • Choquequirao Entrance Fee.

  • large igloo tents, for 2 persons occupancy.

  • Mattress, one per person.

  • Toilet tent (in case campsite does not have toilets).

  • Daily morning boiled and cold water to refill the water bottles.

  • Breakfast the first morning ( you can order an early breakfast at your hotel)

  • Dinner the last day (on your own ).

  • Tips for the crew (guides, cooks, wranglers)
