Saldremos from Cusco very early in the morning, 6am. to the town of Cachora in an approximate journey of 5 hours. On the way we will visit Curahuasi, making a second stop in Saywite. Lunch in Cachora and rest to meet the team of people and horses that will accompany us during the adventure to Choquequirao. At 2 o’clock in the afternoon we will start the walk that will last 4 hours passing through the viewpoint of Capuliyoc (2,780m / 9,120ft.), Until the first camp located in Chiquiska.Dinner and overnight.
Only after breakfast we start the walk to the second camp in Choquequirao, during the tour we will descend to the Rosalina Beach on the banks of the Apurimac River, we will cross the bridge and then we will ascend a gently sloping path to Santa Rosa where we will be able to taste the Cambray (sugar cane drink), after a restful rest we will continue the ascent to Marampata from where we can appreciate Choquequirao and the place where we will have lunch. Continuing practically on the road and after 2 hours reach the refuge city of the last Incas. Choquequirao, the rest of the afternoon will be free. Dinner and overnight.
Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will have a guided tour to the archaeological park of Choquequirao that rises imposing in the middle of the Andes in a strategic, magical and mysterious point on the Apurimac canyon, we will visit the high and low part of the site and with luck we will also be able to appreciate the majestic flight of the Condor, variety of birds (Hummingbirds, Hummingbirds and others), insects and varied flora. After lunch we start the return walk to Rosalina Beach where we will have the third camp. Dinner and overnight.
This day our breakfast will contain trout, then we will start the return climb, in the middle of an exotic landscape of exclusive habitat of butterflies, insects, birds, orchids and dense vegetation. We will arrive at the town of Cachora where we will have lunch and continue the trip on board the bus to the city of Cusco (optionally you can visit the thermal baths of Cconoq).
